The EESTech Challenge (EESTEC Tech Challenge) is a pan-European student competition organized by EESTEC (Electrical Engineering Students’ European assoCiation). The aim of the competition is to give students from all over Europe the opportunity to enhance their knowledge of the EECS (Electrical Engineering and Computer Science) field of study and to develop their coding and hardware skills even more.

Athens was one of the 15 cities that hosted the competition.

EESTEC LC Athens, which for the 6th time organized this specific Hackathon, aims to adequately train and prepare the participants for the local round.

Each year a different topic of contemporary technological interest is chosen to emphasize the academic side of the organization.

This year’s theme was Machine Learning and the competition was held from April 9 to 10 with the support of the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens.

Software Competitiveness International was represented by Dr. Paschalis Vescos, Head of Space Sector of our company, who also gave the opening speech of the event on the use of machine learning (Machine Learning).
